ATLetic defeats Wings 7-3; This Sunday visit Windsor Parkway field to face Nuesoft at 11 am

After loosing away to to Ga Tech on the 111th ADASL D2 matchday,  VaHi ATLetic traveled to Grady High School on 2/21 to face long-time rivals Sting Black FC. The boys in red and white took control of the game early on, scoring 2 goals on the first half and quickly adding two more a few minutes into the second half. Wings kept fighting and score two goals in quick succession to make things interesting. ATLetic regained control of the game with a 35-yard right-footed bomb from  Lobelo but Wings kept fighting and found a 3rd goal on a breakaway. Once again the skipper took control and scored from outside of the box, this time off a corner kick clearance. His left-footed shot got a big deflection in the box to beat the keeper. A final goal came for ATLetic in the dying moments of the game for a final 7-3 score
