A New ADASL Season Begins for VaHi FC D1 and D2 CLUBS!

2016-17 SEASON RECAP

VaHi ATLetic FC succesfully navigated their inaugural D1 season, achieving the main objective of defending D1 status, finishing 7th Place and 10 points above the relegation zone.

The team competed well finishing with a record consisting of 6 wins, 4 draws and 8 defeats. With 2.4 goals/game and a total of 43 league goals, the team’s offense worked well, anchored by EJ Henry’s league leading 16 goals (average 1 goal/game played) which earned him the team’s MVP award for the season.

ADASL 50th Season starts October 1st 2017

 

After a busy 6 weeks of pre-season that incldued several tryout and practive sessions, VaHi took a step forward by creating a second team, VaHi Juniors, that will be competing on ADASL D2more information and roster for VaHi Juniors will be announced soon

Early October marks the start of the most traditional and competitive Adult Soccer Amateur league in metro Atlanta. Teams have worked hard to get ready for a long and grueling season  which promises to offer lots of ups and downs. VaHi ATLetic and Juniors   prepared the season well with several pre-season scrimmages.

Renewed Squad Ready to Compete at a Higher level in ADASL D1

Team management has finalized the initial roster for the season. The backbone of the team remains constant, with players that have been with the team for a long time, in some cases since 2004.

Overall, 11 nations are represented in this year’s roster, a mix of footballing cultures that aligns well with team’s heritag

     

The teams average age this year  is 27.2 years, a god mix of experienced and new players typically needed to succeed at this competitive level.

Team management worked hard over the summer break to prepare for D1 and D2 and recruit talent for all positions on the pitch so the team has undoubtedly strengthen.

Preparations are over and is now time to compete! The D1 team opens the season at home vs newly promoted Atlanta Kings
